Rethinking Material Waste, Together
I work with brands, organisations and teams to better understand and manage textile and material waste. Bringing a hands-on, design-led perspective, I help turn waste challenges into practical, workable solutions.
I support organisations to:
understand current material use and waste
identify inefficiencies and reduce excess
develop circular strategies for sourcing, use and end-of-life
My experience in working directly with materials gives me a practical understanding of how things are designed, used and discarded. This allows me to offer solutions that are considered, realistic and able to be implemented.
The result is a more intentional approach to materials, including:
reduced waste and unnecessary production
smarter sourcing and material selection
extended product lifecycles
clear pathways for reuse, repair and upcycling
I’m particularly interested in working with sporting organisations, events and activations, and brands working with textiles, uniforms or merchandise.

Recently, I transformed retired aerial skiing suits into a couture piece, demonstrating how high-performance materials can be reimagined beyond their original use. The project sparked conversation around the untapped potential of sports uniforms. Outcomes like this are part of a broader process of understanding existing materials and identifying opportunities to use them differently.
This might look like:
reviewing your current uniforms or merchandise
identifying where excess is created
exploring ways to reuse or repurpose existing materials
developing practical next steps for reducing waste
Each project starts with understanding your current materials, how they’re being used, and how they move through their lifecycle. From there, we identify opportunities and develop practical ways to reduce waste and extend the life of those materials.
It connects directly to my design work, where I transform discarded materials into functional pieces that prove their value.
